About OpenAisle

We make independent stores easy for AI shoppers to find, understand and buy from.

More and more shopping starts with a question to ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity. We make sure that when an AI assistant goes looking, your store is open for business.

Our framework, built in house

Generic SEO tools were built for search engines, not for AI agents that read, compare and buy. So we developed our own framework for testing how AI agents actually experience a store.

It checks the eight things that decide whether an assistant can find your products, read accurate prices and stock, and reach checkout. Then we test the result with the real assistants your customers use, and record it, so you see exactly what an AI shopper sees.

We keep refining it as the assistants and their shopping programmes change, so every audit reflects how they work today.

  1. 01

    AI bot access

  2. 02

    Firewall and CDN rules

  3. 03

    Readable without JavaScript

  4. 04

    Complete product data

  5. 05

    Accurate prices and stock

  6. 06

    Product feeds

  7. 07

    Checkout friction

  8. 08

    Live agent test

Then we make it seamless

Finding the problems is half the job. Our specialists fix them so AI agents can notice your store, take the information they need (accurate prices, stock, shipping and returns) and, where the platforms support it, complete a purchase.

Every change is made on a staging copy first, re-tested with real agents, and only then put live.

  • Found: AI search bots can reach every product, category and policy page.
  • Understood: clean, consistent product data that agents trust.
  • Bought from: a checkout an AI agent can get through.

Who's behind OpenAisle

Why we started

Working with e-commerce businesses, we kept hearing the same worry: their stores weren't showing up when shoppers asked AI assistants for recommendations, and nobody could tell them why.

So we set out to find the reasons, and to build a framework that fixes them. Not just so a store is visible to AI agents once, but so it's set up to be found, understood and bought from, again and again, as the assistants keep changing.

We're proud of what that framework does for the stores we work with, and we keep improving it with every audit.
